“Break” recognized by BEAfeatured

Our short brought home an award from the Broadcast Education Association’s (BEA) Festival of Media Arts, and we were delighted and honored by this recognition.

Like most film awards, this one requested we only specify a few recipients by name; in this case, four. And of course, Break — like most films — came into being because many-more-than-four people worked on it. And recognition for the film as a whole is recognition for all of their time, talent and skill.

Named on this one (in addition to Rich and me) are sound designer Weiyan Wang and editor Andrew Twibell. They each spent about a year working with us — listening, collaborating and coaxing this baby into its final state. I’m proud to share this award with them.
